Celebrate 10 years of giving with Give A Gift Southampton

Mark your calendars! On Thursday, 30th November, from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM, join us at The Hobbit Pub in Southampton for a heartwarming and festive event: Give A Gift - An Alternative Christmas. This marks the first of two incredible music events celebrating the 10th year of Give A Gift Southampton, a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy to children spending Christmas in the hospital.

This family-friendly event is FREE to attend—all we ask is that you bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate. These gifts will be delivered by Santa and his elves to the children’s wards at Southampton General Hospital on Christmas morning. Let’s come together to make the season a little brighter for these young patients and their families!

What to Expect:

• A Fantastic Lineup of Live Music: Enjoy performances from local alternative bands who are donating their time to support this wonderful cause. The lineup includes:

  • Bob Rats (Acoustic Set)

  • Almost Aliens

  • Busking For Misfits

  • Dogs of Moscow

  • The Graveyard Bookies

  • Aubrey Blakeledge

• Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Kids are welcome until 7:00 PM, making this the perfect way to kick off the festive season with your loved ones.

• Support a Great Cause: All gifts collected will go to children in Southampton General Hospital. Please note that gifts must be:

  • New

  • Non-edible

  • Non-handmade

  • Free of any violent themes

About Give A Gift Southampton:

Founded by local residents with personal connections to the children’s wards at Southampton General, Give A Gift Southampton has been bringing holiday cheer to young patients for 10 years. This annual event collects toys, games, and other gifts to bring smiles to children and their families who are spending the holiday season in the hospital. Proceeds also support the hospital and families of Ocean Ward.
