The Portsmouth Comic Con is bringing a taste of comic art from the Philippines to the streets of Portsmouth with a free, two-week long art trail. From April 1st to 14th, 20 pieces of art by exciting Filipino comic creators will be on display across the city.
This initiative is a collaboration between Portsmouth Comic Con and Komiket, a non-profit organization that supports Filipino comics. The trail features work by GN Santiago, Maou No Sekai, Alexandra Sevilla, Levi Sabarre, and Randy Valiente.
The art trail is a great way to discover new artists and learn more about the growing Philippine comic scene. All 20 pieces of art will also be on display at the Portsmouth Comic Con on May 11th and 12th.
In addition to the art trail, the Portsmouth Comic Con will feature a variety of panels, workshops, exhibitions, and cosplay activities. There will also be special features for Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and Harry Potter fans.
