Award-winning SUP Theatre Company is bringing H.G. Wells' sci-fi classic "The War of the Worlds" to life with a unique twist: a live radio play experience. This world premiere will take place outdoors at Furzey Gardens from July 4th to 6th.
The play reimagines the story as a 1969 radio broadcast, weaving in the excitement of the Apollo 11 moon landing with reports of strange lights and explosions in the English countryside. As the drama unfolds, terrifying truths emerge – alien invaders are attacking!
Performed with immersive sound effects and a talented cast, this live radio play promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Tickets are £15 and can be purchased online or by phone.
