Born and raised in a family of three, with himself as the only son, Mr. Buoyant pursued his early education in Nigeria, earning a degree in Engineering from Imo State University, Owerri.

His academic journey didn’t stop there; he furthered his education in the UK, obtaining a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Northumbria University, London.

Mr. Buoyant’s musical journey started in his formative years, heavily influenced by a rich tapestry of hip-hop legends like Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. These early influences led him to dabble in rap, initially writing and performing songs with friends who shared his passion. Despite the challenges of limited resources and no formal support, his dedication to refining his craft solidified his belief in his talent. By 2011, he officially launched his music career, driven by the energy and encouragement he received from audiences whenever he performed.

His performances at high-profile events, such as a concert attended by over 10,000 people and another event with an audience of over a million, where he performed alongside Nigerian superstar Phyno, stand out as major milestones. He has also seen his popularity surge on streaming platforms, where his music has garnered over 100,000 streams.

Recent Projects and Radio Show

Mr. Buoyant has recently gained significant attention with the release of several tracks, including “Mandem,” “Gen Z,” “James Bond,” and “Signs.” His collaboration with Ms. Jorji on “James Bond” was particularly impactful, earning him the nickname “Big 007 of the Industry.” His track “Signs” has also been well-received, featuring on BBC Music Introducing and topping local music charts in Southampton.
